The Kim Krans Award

After a brief hiatus, The Kim Krans award is back! Our team is thrilled to recognize another member of our community who has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the safety and well-being of their neighbors in Addison County and the Town of Rochester, Vermont.


Anyone can nominate anyone! Nominations can be submitted using this webform and will be accepted until January 19th, 2024. The award nominee will be notified of the award in early 2024 and celebrated at an event in March 2024.

Nominees demonstrate: 

1.       A history of community contribution to end gender-based violence outside their professional roles 

2.      Work within Addison County and on behalf of its residents  

3.      An impact of the work on people in our community—both directly and indirectly 

4.      Ability to collaborate with others

5.      An emphasis on inclusion and engaging people from marginalized communities
