Domestic Violence Task Force

In order to reduce domestic violence in Addison County, the entire community must send a consistent message that violence is not acceptable. This is called a coordinated community response. One step towards creating this response is the Domestic Violence Task Force. The Task Force is comprised of members of agencies throughout Addison County who serve families affected by domestic violence and concerned individuals. The monthly meeting serves as a forum for discussion about the issues and how our community is responding. It is also a medium through which the community can affect change to ensure that victims are receiving the best services and offenders are being help responsible for the violence. The task force meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00-1:30pm at the Mahady Courthouse in Middlebury. Call Womensafe at 388-9180 for more information.
